Schlingmann LF 20/16. The fire department sees itself as an aid 
organization with tasks such as providing assistance in traffic and 
chemical accidents, floods, fires, and all conceivable disasters. 
The Schlingmann LF20/16 (firefighting vehicle), based on a Mercedes Benz 
Atego 1529 AF, is a vehicle that, due to its extensive firefighting 
equipment, is usually the first responder to fires. 
It has a 2,400-liter extinguishing water tank and is also equipped for 
basic technical accident assistance. 
A centrifugal fire pump, which delivers up to 2,000 liters of water per 
minute at 10 bar pressure, is available for water supply. 
At the rear is the mobile hose reel with space for eight B-hoses. 
Ladders and an extendable light mast are located on the roof. 
With 279 hp and all-wheel drive, the crew of nine people reaches the 
scene quickly and safely. Whether it's a house fire, a traffic accident, 
or a cat in a tree that needs rescuing, the LF20/16 is equipped for most 
emergency situations. 
All equipment compartments can be opened in the model, providing a 
detailed view of the extensive equipment. The hose reel at the rear is 
included, as are the ladders on the roof. 
The detailed driver and crew compartment also includes breathing 
apparatus that can be put on while driving. 
Compared to the HLF 20/16, the LF 20/16 has more extensive firefighting 
equipment, which has been incorporated into the model.
